When should I buy travel insurance?
You should buy travel insurance as soon as possible after you’ve booked your trip. Remember that your travel insurance covers you for incidents that happen before you travel, as well as things that occur during your holiday. With cancellation cover, you’ll be reimbursed if you can’t travel due to sickness, for example. Your cover starts as soon as you buy your policy, and they’ll pay up to the amount shown in your policy documents for unused accommodation, transport, excursions, and other travel expenses you have paid or will have to pay, and that you cannot recover from anywhere else.

What level of breakdown cover can I choose?
They offer 4 levels of breakdown cover to suit your driving needs:
Bronze Breakdown Cover, Silver Breakdown Cover, Gold Breakdown Cover, and Gold Plus European Breakdown Cover.
Is breakdown cover worth spending money on?
For as little as £36.50* a year you can take out their Bronze Breakdown Cover and call on their experienced technicians in the event of a breakdown, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
They pick up the cost of recovery and an hour of repair work at the roadside as standard, so you save on call-out fees and vehicle recovery.
Their most comprehensive cover levels (Gold Breakdown Cover and Gold Plus European Breakdown Cover) also cover the costs of getting you and up to 7 passengers to your desired destination in the UK or Europe (depending on the cover level you choose). This includes overnight accommodation, the cost of onward transport, or a courtesy car. Costs are also covered for you to travel to collect the vehicle once it’s fixed and a vehicle recovery service if you fill up with the wrong fuel or misplace your keys.

What’s a used car warranty?
A used car warranty (also known as Mechanical Breakdown Insurance) helps cover the cost of repairs and replacement parts on a vehicle, due to mechanical or electrical failure. Essentially, a car warranty helps make sure that if something goes wrong with your car you won’t be hit by an expensive repair bill.
Can I cancel the car warranty?
They allow a 14 day cooling-off period from the day you purchase your warranty. In that time if you feel their Car Warranty isn’t for you and you haven’t already made a claim, you can cancel your cover by calling 0345 600 2205 and selecting option 2.
What is the payment method?
It’s your choice whether you pay a one-off annual fee for your warranty, or spread the cost with monthly pay-as-you-go Direct Debit payments. Whatever your preference, you can buy cover online using a VISA or MasterCard debit or credit card.
