Can I cancel my booking?
Yes, you can cancel at any time. If you cancel more than 7 working days before your booking is due to start you will get a full and immediate refund. If you cancel within 7 working days please view their cancellation policy to see how your refund will be affected.
What if my possessions are damaged?
In the unfortunate event that an item is damaged please contact Compare the Man and Van by going to Help & Support and messaging them on their Live Chat.
Can they book a return journey?
Yes, you can either arrange the return journey with your driver directly or make a second booking on the website and apply your discount code which is located on your email confirmation.
Do my quotes include VAT?
No, VAT charges are added to your quotes, this is because all service providers are self-employed sub-contractors and incorporate any overheads into their pricing structure.
What is the cancellation policy?
Compare the Man and Van understands that plans often change when moving, usually through no fault of your own. It is important you are aware that you may be charged a cancellation fee depending on how much notice you give them before the booking is due to start. If you cancel your booking with more than (7) working days to go before your booking is due to start, you will be refunded any/all card payments made without delay. There is no cooling-off period after booking and their cancellation policy applies immediately after the booking is confirmed. If you cancel your booking with (7) working days or less to go before your booking is due to start, you will not be refunded the 35% deposit (their cancellation fee). If you have paid the full amount by card when booking, you will be refunded 65% without delay. If you wish to postpone/put back your booking, they retain the right to hold any money paid unless you cancel at a future time, in this scenario the cancellation policy above will still apply. If you cancel your booking within 24 hours of the booking due to start you will not be refunded any monies that have been paid. Any monies will be used as a cancellation fee for the driver because they have not been able to receive any other confirmed bookings for the time you had reserved them. The working day rule excludes weekends and bank holidays.
