No matter which of their couriers end up delivering your bed, unfortunately, all of them will require a signature. You may face a penalty charge if you miss their delivery, and they will attempt to rebook your delivery. All of their delivery routes are preplanned, however, and as such your options may be more limited than they were when you first made your choice.
Because their carrier controls the delivery routes based on their algorithms, they’re unable to provide a specific delivery slot prior to placing your order. But don’t worry, 24 hours prior to delivery they’ll give you a 2-hour time slot, an SMS message in the morning and the driver will contact you when they’re 30 minutes away. Just to top it off to, you’ll get live tracking information so you can spy on the driver (don’t tell the driver that bit).
All tracking information is included in your dispatch email so you’re able to see where the drivers up to on the day and how far away they are.
Yark Beds accepts returns within 14 working days of delivering, and charge a £65 return fee. Payment will be deducted off your refund, a Yark agent will confirm your returns ID and contact you asking which day you would like your bed collected on. With a date set, they will send you a text message confirming both the collection day and your two-hour collection window. Fast forward to the day and time, their delivery driver will collect the flat-packed goods, obtaining your signature before they leave. It’s essentially just like their deliveries but in reverse.
Once they have collected your bed, it typically takes 3-5 working days for the goods to arrive back to their warehouse. Once your bed has returned to their warehouse, they will issue a refund to your original payment method within 10 working days with an email to confirm that they’ve issued your refund.
