• Living DNA will not issue refunds for DNA testing kits that are already being processed in their lab or for which processing has already been completed. Once a DNA sample has been sent to Living DNA's lab and checked in, the full cost of the DNA testing kit is non-refundable. Living DNA will confirm this to you when you request your refund.
• Once a sample has been received at Living DNA's lab it can be stored for up to 21 days unactivated. If your sample is unactivated for more than 21 days after it arrives at the lab, it will be destroyed. Living DNA will replace a destroyed sample with a new kit, at the cost of the kit and shipping. You will have a choice between standard and premium shipping, the costs of which will be confirmed by the customer services team for you before you make your decision.
• Living DNA accounts department will be notified to process your refund once you have given Living DNA notice of cancellation. This will not include the additional cost of any premium delivery service charged to you at your request. Living DNA will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 14 working days of the day on which you gave Living DNA notice of cancellation.
• If you have paid for standard delivery, there is a default delivery period of 30 days during which Living DNA as the retailer aims to deliver the goods to you. If 30 days has lapsed then you have the right to cancel the purchase and get a full refund.
