Most of the savings at LOVEtheatre come from its own reduced ticket prices, and voucher codes turn up now and then through its newsletter and partner schemes. To use one, type it into the PROMO code field on the checkout page before you pay, and the new total should show straight away. If it is rejected, check whether it only covers certain shows or dates, because many theatre offers are tied to particular performances.
For most shows the tickets are attached to your confirmation email, which normally lands within 24 hours of booking. There is a pink Download Tickets button under the booking details that opens the eTickets with their barcode, and you can show that on your phone at the door, so there is no need to print anything. A few venues, such as the Nimax theatres, handle their tickets differently, and the help centre explains what to do for those.
Theatre tickets are non-refundable once bought. LOVEtheatre will try to move you to another date of the same show at the same venue, but that depends on seats being available and on the venue's own rules. If you want cover in case something stops you going, you can add TicketPlan refund protection when you book. It can't be added afterwards, and claims go to TicketPlan rather than to LOVEtheatre.
Wheelchair spaces and other access seats aren't sold by LOVEtheatre. Book those directly with the venue's access team, who can match you with the right seats.
The seating plan on each show page is worth a careful look before you pay. A seat with a small white dot in the middle of its colour has a restriction, and when you click it a note under the seat details tells you what that is, for example a pillar in the way or only part of the stage in view. Knowing that up front means you can decide whether the view matters to you for that show.
Tickets don't have to be used by the person who booked them. You can forward the eTicket email to a friend or give the tickets as a present, and the name on the ticket doesn't need to match whoever turns up, unless a show says otherwise. Only the lead booker can change the order, though, and all the tickets in one booking come together in a single email rather than one per guest.
For parties of ten or more, LOVEtheatre passes you to Group Line, its sister company that handles group and school bookings. If you're buying for someone else and haven't picked a show, a gift voucher sent by email lets them choose their own date and seats within a year.
Choose your show, date and seats, then go through to checkout. Type the code into the PROMO code field before you pay and the total updates if the code applies to that booking.
Theatre codes are often limited to certain shows, dates or seat prices, so check the terms that came with it. If the code was accepted but you were charged full price, contact the LOVEtheatre team through its help centre.
