They recommend washing the blade by hand with warm soapy water immediately after use. You can use a brush to reach hard to reach areas. The cups and accessories are top-shelf dishwashers safe. The motor base should be unplugged and wiped clean with a warm soapy cloth. They do not recommend washing the blade or motor base in the dishwasher. See product care videos here.
They recommend replacing blades every 6 months.
Registering your warranty helps them determine if your unit is authentic and assist with warranty service. Please note that they will still require your serial number and model number for verification, as well as your proof of purchase if you haven't already submitted it.
