If you wish to change your booking:
If, after a confirmation invoice has been issued, you wish to change your travel arrangements in any way, Wendy Wu Tours will endeavour to make these changes, but it may not always be possible.
Any request for changes to be made must be from the lead name on the booking or your Travel Agent.
You will be asked to pay an administration charge as set out below per person and any further cost Wendy Wu Tours incurs together with any costs or charges incurred or imposed by any of their suppliers in making this alteration.
Examples include:
- Minor amendments to the tour booked OR Minor amendments made within 30 days of departure OR Transferring between tours or changing departure date - £50.
- Transferring between tours or changing departure date within 75 days of departure is not permitted and cancellation fees will apply.
- Reissue of airline tickets, where possible - £50 plus any non-refundable costs of the cancelled ticket and any additional costs of the new ticket.
You can transfer your booking to another person, who satisfies all the conditions that apply to your booking, by giving Wendy Wu Tours notice in writing as soon as possible and no later than 7 days before departure. Both you and the new traveller are responsible for paying all costs Wendy Wu Tours incurs in making the transfer.
Once a booking is confirmed no changes are permitted otherwise than in accordance with these terms and conditions.
It is important to note that some arrangements such as certain types of air tickets cannot be changed after a booking has been made as they are sold as part of your fixed package.
You will be advised of any such non-refundable charges prior to confirming your booking.
Any change will be treated as a cancellation in which case cancellation charges will apply.
Note that only one change per booking is permitted.

If you wish to cancel your booking
Because Wendy Wu Tours start to incur costs in relation to your arrangements from the time they confirm your booking, if you cancel Wendy Wu Tours have to make a charge and the nearer to your departure date you cancel, the higher the charge will be.
If you wish to cancel a confirmed booking you must do so by writing to the head office.
Cancellation takes effect from the day Wendy Wu Tours receive your letter.
Cancellation charges are shown in the table below and will be payable immediately on cancellation.
Where the cancellation charge is shown as a percentage, this is calculated on the basis of the total cost payable by the person(s) cancelling excluding insurance premiums and amendment charges.
Insurance premiums and amendment charges are not refundable in the event of cancellation:
- 75 or more days prior to departure; full retention of deposit,
- 74– 42 days prior to departure; 30% of total cost back, including deposit,
- 41 – 28 days prior to departure; 60% of total cost back, including deposit,
- 27 – 15 days prior to departure; 90% of total cost back, including deposit,
- 14 days or less prior to departure; 100% of total cost back, including deposit.
Depending on the reason for cancellation, you may be able to reclaim these cancellation charges (less any applicable excess) under the terms of your insurance policy. Claims must be made directly to the insurance company concerned and Wendy Wu Tours have no liability in these circumstances.
