All ADT cameras offer continuous, 24/7 recording with the ability to check in on your feed at any time. The device will record at all times but will only send an alert to your phone or security system if there is an alert, such as motion detection or a loud noise.
In a pan tilt-type security camera, it continuously rotates when it's on. A distinct buzz may also be heard, and that means it is rotating. If the patrol or tour function is set up, it constantly moves, which means the camera is recording.
You'll pay the applicable termination fees (75% of the remaining monthly charges), and ADT will send you a prepaid box with instructions on how to return your ADT equipment.
