Downtown ships within the UK.
At the time of your order, you will be given a delivery estimate with your order confirmation. Standard items are usually delivered within 3-5 working days. You will also be able to track your order via DPD's tracking link.
Furniture orders and items which require ordering will take more time to arrive. This will be outlined on the product page and in your delivery confirmation.
Deliveries will generally be between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm. For both small and large items, you will receive a delivery window beforehand, as well as an email from Downtown as to when your order has been dispatched.
DPD will leave a card at your address if you miss your delivery. They can re-attempt up to three times before your parcel is sent back to them. Alternatively, you are also able to send your parcel to the nearest DPD Pickup shop to collect when convenient.
Please get in contact with them and have your order number on hand.
Orders cannot be cancelled once they have left their warehouse for dispatch. Please see their returns and refund policy for further details. For 'made to order' items and special orders, there is a cancellation fee of up to 25%. In these circumstances, they are unlikely to be able to sell your item again at full price.
They do hope that you will be pleased with your new purchase. However, if you change your mind when you receive the goods and wish to return them, they would be happy to take them back within 28 days of you receiving the goods, as long as the goods are in a new, unused condition with the original packaging.
They will refund the price of the item to the purchaser or exchange it as soon as it is received by them. This will usually reach the account within 5 working days. Timing will however depend on the speed with which your credit/debit card company process the credit.
They will refund all the monies paid by you for the goods in question. They will also refund the basic cost of your delivery, i.e. if you have chosen next day delivery, then they will refund you the cost of their standard delivery.
Please note that goods are returned at your expense. They will only cover this cost in the instance of incorrect, damaged or faulty goods.
