Argos Pet Insurance are sorry to hear your code isn’t working; please make sure you’re not trying to use multiple codes per order and that your item isn’t excluded. To double-check, look over their list of exclusions.
What is the procedure for redeeming a promotional code?
When you’ve discovered all of the things you want, click the ‘green block.’ Below your list of things, you’ll find a box that says ‘Promotional code (optional)’ Put it in this box.’ To apply the discount, enter your promotional code in this box and click “Add promotional code.” If the code doesn’t work, make sure you’re not trying to use it with more than one offer and that none of the goods is on their list of exclusions.

What are the excess fees?
You will pay a veterinary excess of £65 for each separate incident. If you have a Silver or Gold cover, you will pay this excess once for each incident. If you have Platinum cover, you will pay this excess once for each incident in each period of insurance that you make a claim. When you’re taking out your policy you can choose to pay an extra voluntary excess of £25, £50 or £100, in addition to the £65 veterinary fee excess. By choosing to pay a voluntary excess you could cut the cost of your insurance premium. When you claim 3rd party liability (dogs only) or accidental damage, your excess is £100.
Do I get a discount if I insure more than one pet with Argos Pet Insurance?
Yes, If you have more than one pet – whether it’s two cats, four dogs or a family of cats and dogs – you’ll get their 10% multi-pet discount off your premium for every extra pet you insure with them so you pay full price for the first pet, then get 10% off each pet after that. You can protect a maximum of 10 pets on a single policy. If you had 12 pets they would put 10 on one policy and two on an additional policy. This wouldn’t affect your discount – you would pay full price for the first pet, then get 10% off the remaining 11 pets.
How do I cancel my policy?
If you no longer need to cover your pet or you are thinking of changing the insurer, please give the Customer Services team a call on 0345 078 7500. Lines are open from 8 am to 8 pm Mon to Fri and 9 am to 5 pm on Saturdays.
Do I have to pay the Vet and Argos Pet Insurance reimburse me?
There are two ways to pay the vet. Either you can pay the vet and then claim so they send the money to you. Or, if the vet is happy for them to, they can pay them directly so that you’re not out of pocket at any point.
What is a policy excess?
A policy excess is an amount that you would have to pay if you claim your insurance. Here at Argos Pet Insurance, your excess will remain the same, unless you choose to add a voluntary excess.
When will my claims be processed?
Argos Pet Insurance aim to assess your claim within five working days but it can take up to 15 working days if they need any more information from you or your vet. You can track the status of your insurance claim on their claims tracker.
