The minimum you can pay into an HL Account on your debit card is £1, the maximum is £99,999.

As soon as your debit card payment is authorised, your 'Amount available to invest' will be updated to reflect the payment. The cash might not actually move from your bank account for a few days, but you can invest straight away. Please note that when adding money via cheque, the balance may take a few days to show upon receipt.

The type of unit you hold determines how any income generated from the fund's underlying investments is treated. With income units, income is paid out to fund holders as cash. This could provide the investor with an income stream or the cash could be reinvested to buy additional units. With accumulation units income is retained within the fund and reinvested, increasing the price of the units. Generally, for investors who wish to reinvest income, accumulation units offer a more convenient and cost-effective way of doing so.

There is no charge for buying, selling or switching funds within your HL Account. Before purchasing a fund, you need to be aware of any initial charge of the fund less any discounts offered. You should also be aware that certain funds will have a spread between the sell and buy price and certain funds may charge a dilution levy. The annual charge to hold ETFs in the HL SIPP is 0.45% capped at £200 per annum. This cap is applied across all equity holdings (shares, bonds, investment trusts & ETFs) within the SIPP.
