Kipling Shipping & Delivery: What Do I Need To Know?

Goods ordered through Kipling’s website will only be delivered to England, Wales, Scotland and the Isle of Man. Currently, they are not delivering to the Channel Islands, Gibraltar and British Overseas Territories. Due to customs clearance issues caused by Brexit, the shipment of orders to Northern Ireland is suspended from December 28, 2020, until further notice.

Kipling offers a range of delivery options to receive the Products purchased on their site. Customers can choose the one that best suits their personal needs.

Standard Delivery

  • FREE service delivered within 5 – 7 working days.
  • Delivery is Monday to Saturday during business hours.
  • Orders placed before 11:00 am GMT Monday to Friday will be dispatched the same day (under normal circumstances).
  • Delivery of personalised items will take up to 10 working days.
Delivery at CollectPlus Collection Point
  • FREE service delivered within 5 – 7 working days.
  • Collection is available 7 days a week, depending on store opening hours.

  • Please remember that CollectPlus can only accept parcels under 10kg in weight and with maximum dimensions of 60x50x50cm.

Upon delivery of the products to their carrier, Kipling will send customers a shipment confirmation email. Customers can track the shipment of their products by clicking on the "Track Your Order" link in the shipping confirmation email. Please note such links will direct customers to the courier's website, which is not controlled by Kipling.

Please note:

  • It is Kipling’s goal to deliver within the above mentioned times, however, delivery dates are not guaranteed as shipments are handled by third parties and are subject to carriers' local bank holidays.
  • Kipling will be unable to change the delivery address on orders after checkout.

Kipling Returns and Refunds: What Do I Need To Know?

If customers aren’t happy with their purchase for any reason, Kipling will gladly accept a return within 30 days.

How to make a free return:

  • Create a “return label”
Customers should visit the ‘track your order’ page, enter their order number and email address and click ‘create a return’. They should then select the items they may want to return, the preferred return method (drop off to a collection point or carrier pick up at preferred address) and select the reason for the return. Then print the return label provided.
  • Pack the products with the return label
Customers should pack the order in the original box (different boxes can be used, but Kipling strongly encourage recycling where possible) and attach the new label, ensuring the original label is covered.
  • Drop the products or hand them to the carrier
Customers can then drop their return into any available collection point locations or wait for carrier pick-up on the proposed date.
  • Wait for return confirmation and refund
Customers will get an email confirmation when their order has been correctly returned to the Kipling warehouse and refund processed (5 - 7 business days).

If customers have any feedback on Kipling’s returns process, they shouldn’t hesitate to let them know via the Kipling Contact Us page.

Right of withdrawal

If customers are not satisfied with the Products they received or have simply changed their mind about purchasing them after Kipling has emailed the Order Confirmation, they can return them within 30 (thirty) calendar days of delivery of the Products and get a refund. This is a right of withdrawal that customers can exercise without penalty and without giving any reason. Customers should please note that while the Products remain in their possession they are responsible for keeping them safe, secure and in good condition. In case of returns for change of mind (right of withdrawal), customers will be fully reimbursed apart from shipping costs for express delivery, if they had chosen this shipping method. Kipling recognises no right of withdrawal for Products that customers have asked them to customise (for example with bespoke colours, materials, monograms) through our Personalisation. Obviously, personalised products can be returned in case they are faulty.

Legal guarantee for faulty goods

In addition to the above, Kipling recognises the statutory 2-year (or the longer period that may be set forth by the local law) guarantee for product faults. A product is "faulty" if received damaged or where a manufacturing or material fault occurs within 2 years (or the longer period that may be set forth by the local law) from the purchase. Please note that Products damaged due to wear and tear are not considered faulty. Customers can return faulty Products within 2 years of receipt of the products and get a full refund, including any shipping costs, as applicable.

Kipling’s leather products have been made with care from genuine high-quality leather. The leather texture is naturally generated and will develop a rich patina over time. Any variations in the colour and grain are a result of the natural characteristics of the leather. Care should be taken when wearing light coloured garments to prevent colour transfer (a natural risk with leather). Keep the product dry and avoid contact with damp or wet surfaces.

Limit the exposure to direct heat or sunlight

To clean the product, just wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use any chemical cleaners to care for the product. Optional care, not essential: with a soft brush, a colourless cream can be applied regularly to leather areas (not for Nubuck leather). The product can be protected by applying a waterproofing agent, following the recommendations given by the manufacturer.

You take your bag everywhere, so eventually, it will need some cleaning. Don’t worry about scrubbing away the memories–those are there to stay!

Clean the outside fabric with a slightly wet cloth. Do not bleach. Do not soak in water. Hang in a shady place. In case of a deep stain, clean the fabric with a cloth or soft brush using water and neutral soap.

A universal-use protective spray (i.e. Scotchguard – found in most shoe or handbag departments) may be used to keep the product looking clean. When the fabric bag is combined with leather, avoid moistening the leather when cleaning.

  • Gather supplies: Customers will need warm water,a sponge or towel and mild soap.
  • Empty the bag: Remove everything from the bag. Don’t forget to check all the pockets!
  • Wipe it down: Wipe down the inside and outside of the bag using mild soap, warm water and a sponge.
  • Let it dry: Leave the bag to air out in a dry space. Make sure the zippers are open!
