They’re a thoughtful & practical gift option that is often more cost-effective for the buyer.” However, more often than not you may need to exchange the gift for a different size or claim a damaged item. Luckily 40 of our fashion retail giants are offering Christmas extended return policies, especially Adidas. Adidas - Items can be returned for free within 30 days of being delivered. In-store returns are also available for orders that do not include a delivery fee.
ASOS - Orders placed between 13 November and 13 December are eligible for a full refund until 15 January 2024. Orders placed after 13 December will be subject to their general 28-day return policy.
George at ASDA - Garments can be returned within 100 days of purchase. Items purchased from ASDA’s third-party vendors are subject to a 30-day return policy.
Boden - Orders made directly through Boden this festive season are eligible for a 90-day return policy. Sale items are subject to a 14-day return policy.
Bonmarche - Products purchased from 21 October to 24 December can be exchanged for an item of equal value up until 21 January 2024. Orders placed after 10 December are subject to their 28-day return policy. Returns with receipts will be given a full refund. Returns without receipts will be given a credit note or exchange.
Boux Avenue - Orders made after 16 October can be returned for free up until 16 January 2024. Receipts and gift receipts are required.
Castore - Purchases made from 1 November to 24 December can be returned by 14 January 2024 for either a refund or exchange. The dispatch note will be requested during the return procedure.
Crew Clothing - Unworn items purchased on or after 23 October are eligible for a refund or exchange until 21 January 2024 upon presentation of a receipt. Returns made without a receipt are eligible for an exchange for an item of equivalent value.
Debenhams - Orders placed from November to December 2023 are eligible for return until 5 January 2024.
Dr Martens - Orders placed from 1 November may be returned up until 31 January 2024 in-store or online.
Footasylum - Purchases made from 20 October are returnable up until 7 January 2024. Products purchased after Christmas will follow the original 28-day return policy.
Foot Locker - Any items bought between 1 November and 19 December may be returned up until 31 January 2024.
H&M - All orders placed between 14 October and 25 December may be returned until 31 January 2024.
Hobbs - Items purchased in-store or online from 31 October are eligible for an exchange or full refund until 31 January 2024.
House of Fraser - Online orders placed after 31 October may be returned for a refund until 7 January 2024. In-store purchases are eligible for a credit note. Proof of purchase is required.
Hush - Garments purchased between 23 October to 15 December may be returned for a full refund up until 15 January 2024.
Jacamo - All orders placed from November to December may be returned up until 14 January 2024.
MandM Direct - Orders placed from 4 September are returnable until 15 January 2024.
Matalan - All orders made from 1 October to 24 December are returnable for either a refund or exchange until 31 January 2024, upon presentation of a receipt.
Monsoon - All garments bought in-store or online between 21 October and 24 December are returnable until 15 January 2024.
New Look - Unwanted garments purchased between 30 October and 8 December are eligible for a return until 5 January 2024, upon presentation of a dispatch note or valid order number.
NEXT - Items bought in-store or ordered online between 1 November and 25 December are eligible for a full refund until 6 January 2024.
Nike - Unworn products purchased from 1 November to 31 December are subject to a 60-day return policy.
Office London - Full-price products purchased online or in-store between 1 November and 11 December are returnable until 8 January 2024. Proof of purchase is required for both online and in-store returns. Sale items are eligible for an exchange or gift card only.
PUMA - Orders placed between 23 November and 19 December may be returned for free up to 60 days after purchase.
Reebok - Orders placed during the festive season can be returned for free within 60 days of purchase.
River Island - All orders placed after 22 October can be exchanged for a gift card until 14 January 2024.
Schuh - Online orders made by account holders are eligible for free returns and exchanges up to 1 year after purchase. Non-account holders will be charged £2.50 for returns.
Secret Sales - All garments purchased from 25 October may be returned until 31 January 2024.
Sunglasses2U - All eyewear ordered from 1 November may be returned up until 5 pm on 12 January 2024.
Superdry - All online and in-store purchases made from 1 October to 24 December are returnable up until 31 January 2024. Proof of purchase is required. Returns made with a gift receipt are only eligible for exchanges or a gift card.
Ted Baker - Both in-store and online purchases made from 18 October to 24 December are returnable up until 24 January 2024. Online orders be returned for a refund. In-store purchases may be exchanged for a gift card or an item of equal value.
The White Company - Orders placed between 11 October and 24 December may be returned up until 31 January 2024. In-store returns are eligible for exchanges only.
The North Face[/b] - Purchases made during the festive season may be returned for free within 60 days of delivery.
Tommy Hilfiger - Online and in-store purchases may be returned within 60 days of being delivered or the date stipulated on the receipt.
Tu Clothing - Garments purchased between 29 September and 25 December are returnable until 31 January 2024.
Uniqlo - Items purchased from 13 November to 24 December are returnable up until 21 January 2024.
Zalando - Unwanted items may be returned for free within 100 days of purchase.
Zee & Co - Garments bought between 23 October and 23 December may be returned by 6 January 2024. Purchases made from 24 December onwards are subject to their general return policy.

IKEA - All furniture purchases are eligible for a full refund within 365 days of purchase. Keeping proof of purchase is advised but not compulsory.

Hamleys - All toys are eligible for return within 60 days of purchase or exchange within 90 days of purchase.
Smyths Toys - According to Metro, “any items bought from Smyth’s Toys any time after September 1 can be returned any time up to January 31 2024.”

Amazon - Items ordered between 1 November and 31 December may be returned up until 31 January 2024.
Argos - Products purchased between 29 September and 25 December may be returned by 31 January 2024.
Boots - Online orders placed from 1 October can be returned by 31 January 2024 for a refund upon presentation of the order number. Items can be returned in-store or online.
Costco - All items come with an open return policy, meaning there is no time frame in which items need to be returned.
Currys - Orders made between 1 November and 24 December may be returned up until 23 January 2024.
John Lewis - Unwanted items bought between 27 September and 24 December may be returned by 23 January 2024. Don’t forget to ask for a gift receipt at checkout.
Marks & Spencer - According to The Sun, online & in-store purchases made at Marks & Spencer between 12 October and 24 December can be returned by 28 January 2024. However, purchases made on and after Christmas Day are subject to the original return policy.
QVC - Orders placed after 6 October are eligible for return or exchange up until 31 January 2024.
Sainsbury’s - Products bought between 29 September and 25 December can be returned by 31 January 2024.
Tesco - All purchases made between 1 October and 24 December may be returned for a refund by 31 January 2024.
TK Maxx - Unwanted items purchased after 28 September are eligible for an exchange or gift card when returned by 23 January 2024. Refunds are only available to items returned within 28 days along with the original receipt.
Very - Purchases made between 1 October and 11 December may be returned up until 8 January 2024. Christmas decorations and trees are not eligible.

Sports Direct - Purchases made from 3 October may be returned until 7 January 2024. Online orders are eligible for refund while in-store purchases are eligible for credit notes only. Proof of purchase is required.
