How much luggage can I take on board?
Fred Olsen Cruise Lines’s cruises from UK ports offer a generous 200lbs (90kgs) of luggage, ideally with each piece of baggage not weighing more than 20kgs. On fly-cruises, however, your allowance will be subject to the conditions imposed by the air carrier and will vary from airline to airline. Full details of your luggage allowance will be provided on your booking confirmation and your flight tickets. (This is subject to change at any time.) Coach Services For safety reasons, when using one of Fred Olsen Cruise Lines’s advertised coach services each piece of luggage must weigh less than 20kgs. Please check when booking and on receipt of your tickets.
Do I need a passport to go on a cruise?
Absolutely. It is a condition of carriage that all guests embarking on a cruise holiday, even those visiting the British Isles, must hold a full and valid passport that conforms to the entry requirements of each destination visited, and is valid for at least 6 months after the date of return to the UK. It is your responsibility to ensure you hold a valid passport. If you need to renew your passport, please allow at least one month for your application to be processed - and more time during peak holiday periods.
