Smaller baskets and bargain items. If you are buying a single item or a small order, the 5% off code takes the straightforward approach. On a £20 order for example, the code saves you £1. However, if you are simply after one of SnapMad's fixed price deals, you might not need the code at all: the photo keyring for £3.49, the black canvas for £10, or snap tiles from £1.50 are already set prices, so the code does not apply.

Orders under £20. Free shipping begins at £20 spend, so if your basket falls short, factor in delivery cost when comparing codes and deals. The 5% code still works on smaller baskets, or if you're buying canvas prints, the code that gives you a free canvas with purchase of three or more items could be value if you're ordering multiple canvases.

Orders of three or more canvas prints. The code for a free canvas when you buy two canvas prints will give you a significant advantage if you are making a gallery wall or gifting multiple prints. You cannot combine this with the 5% code, so compare the two: on a £60 basket of canvas prints, for example, 5% off saves you £3, whereas the buy two get one free deal saves you one third of the price of a single canvas print. If that print costs £20, you save £20, which is much better.

Large orders of 25 or more products. If you are buying 25 items or more, the automatic deal for 25 free standard photo prints kicks in at checkout. This is not a code, so you do not need to do anything to redeem it. The same threshold applies to another deal offering 25 free prints across mixed product types. If your order reaches this volume, you will beat the percentage discount significantly.

Choosing between overlapping offers. When multiple offers fit your basket, work out the cash saving each one gives and pick the larger amount. The 5% code and the free canvas code cannot combine, so if both apply to your basket, calculate what you save with each one separately and use whichever leaves you paying less. The buy two get one free canvas deal also stands alone and cannot be combined with the percentage code. The free print deals and the free canvas deals cannot be stacked together: check which saving is bigger for your specific items and order size.

Free shipping. Spend £20 or more and you qualify for free delivery automatically at checkout, whether or not you use a code. The percentage code and free shipping are compatible.
