Sorare's 5-a-side fantasy football game is also known as SO5 (short for Sorare5). It is the first game that can be played using Sorare Cards. It is a global fantasy football game where you can assemble your team of 5 Cards and earn points depending on the performance of players in real-life football matches.
Every week, your Cards earn XP points that make them more powerful in the game and allow you to compete in higher divisions to win better prizes.
To track the real-life performances of individual players, Sorare is an official partner of Opta, the main football data provider. They cover individual player performances from 23 football leagues.
How do I creat, my first team?
When you sign-in to Sorare for the first time, you will receive common card packs as you complete each step in their onboarding process.
How are the scores in Sorare fantasy football calculation?
The Fantasy score is calculated after three steps:
Calculate the Player Score (PS) using the scoring matrix. These are the points from the performance of the player on the pitch.
Calculate the Card Score (CS) using each card Bonus (Season, Captain and Level Bonus)
Calculate the Team Score (TS). This is just the addition of your 5 card scores.
What are the prizes for weekly leagues?
Sorare announce the prizes (amount of Ethers + Cards) for every Game Week and every division in the “Play" section of the website under Prize Pool.
What if I get outbid in an auction?
Every time you are outbid during an auction, your bank refunds your transaction. The only amount that is taken from your bank is the final bid, only if you won the auction. How quickly you see the refund depends on your bank. It could take anywhere from a few hours to a few days.
