How can I return?
Any returned products must be returned to them in good condition, with all packaging intact. All refunds and reimbursements will be arranged within 30 days of their acceptance after the safe receipt of the returned goods. Any product returned must be within its original packaging, contain the relevant paperwork and be adequately packed to avoid any possible damage. The cost and risk of returning the product are the responsibility of the customer and proof of delivery service must be used. The courier must be informed of breakages or shortages at the time of delivery. They may not (at their sole discretion) accept any claims for breakages or shortages unless they are stated on the couriers’ documentation. They must have confirmation of these breakages or shortages within 2 working days of delivery. Photographic evidence is required by their carrier company if an item has been damaged during transit.
What is the payment method?
The Scotch Malt Whisky Society accepts Visa Credit Card, Mastercard, Visa Debit, Delta and Switch.
Are there delivery charges?
Their delivery partners are DPD and DHL. They use standard delivery tariffs as set by their partner. They strive to offer free delivery when they can and are able to offer this for their members in the UK, with the exception of some remote delivery locations. – More information about delivery costs can be found in the Delivery Information in the website. In Europe, they offer free delivery on orders over £150.
How can I track the status of my order?
All your tracking details can be followed up with your courier - you will receive shipping information directly from the courier upon collection from their warehouse. At this point, you will have all the details required to manage and maintain your delivery process.
How long will my delivery take?
Orders are usually processed within 48 hours of receipt and delivery to addresses within the EU can take up to 14 days, however they are unable to guarantee the timescale of the service provided by their couriers, as this may be affected by circumstances outwith their control, such as adverse weather conditions, government importation processes or strikes. Most UK deliveries will arrive within 2-3 working days.
