They only make money when a successful, completed booking is carried out on the site you are redirected to, or on a click-through basis, as they receive a referral fee. These referral fees are paid by their partners, and they never charge you any fees or commission. Momondo also makes money from the ads displayed on their site.
They do their best to include all mandatory fees and surcharges (fees that cannot be deselected) in the prices they display. Sometimes the travel suppliers do not communicate all fees, or there are technical issues that create inaccuracies in the prices displayed. Therefore, they advise you to always check the final price on the booking page. Their goal is to create as much transparency in prices as possible, and they’re constantly working on making the prices more transparent.
