What is Saga cancellation policy?

Saga reserves the right to change any of the facilities or services described in their brochure or website. They also reserve the right to cancel the booking due to weather or other conditions. If a major change, such as a change in departure time, becomes necessary, Saga will inform you as soon as reasonably possible your tour begins. If a booking is cancelled, Saga will refund all payments made directly to them in respect of the tour price. They will not refund any personal expenses you may have incurred as a result of your booking such as flight payments for land-only tours, travel insurance, equipment purchases, visas, vaccinations etc.

If a client requests a change of itinerary for a confirmed booking, Saga will not charge a fee, other than the price difference of services provided. If the fee is less, they will refund the difference, excluding the deposit fee.

• Day Tour and Private Tour cancellation policies: The client is able to cancel the tour up until 24 hours prior to departure. The cancellation fee is 20% of the tour fee or an equal amount to the deposit. The deposit fee can be forwarded to another departure date, or another tour supplied by Saga.
• Northern Lights Cancellation fee: The client is able to cancel Northern Lights tours up until 6 hours prior to departure. There is no cancellation fee on Northern Lights Tours.
• Shore Excursions Cancellation fee: For the cruise ships, the cancellation policy does not apply if the ship does not make it to the harbour. In case of the ship not reaching the pier, you’ll receive a full refund without a cancellation fee. Otherwise, a normal cancellation fee for day tours applies.
