Once you have submitted your order, the payment will be pending on the payment details you have provided until it has been accepted or rejected by the restaurant.
If for any reason they don't accept this order you may see the amount pending until it is rejected, for upto 72 hours before the payment will drop off. Payment will only be taken from your account once a restaurant has accepted the order. If you have any issues with your order please contact the restaurant directly.
Once you have placed your order, if the restaurant is using tastecard’s delivery network, you can use the tracking functionality to keep an eye on your order. Your order confirmation email will confirm the estimated time of arrival and give you details about who is delivering your order (during busy times please be patient before contacting the restaurant).
Where tastecard’s delivery network isn't being used orders are delivered by the restaurant themselves, you would need to contact them directly about any queries. If your order is being delivered by a 3rd party, then you can contact them by using the details in your order confirmation or on the tracking screen.
It is the customer’s responsibility to check the items in their order before submitting to ensure they are correct, as there is no ability to amend or change an order through the app once placed.
If you have made an error with your order and need to make an amendment, then please call the restaurant directly to see if they can accommodate your request. This may not be possible as your order may already be in progress. Any amendments are solely at the restaurant’s discretion.
