Very small baskets and single low cost items: if you are just buying a single personalised dog mug for £9.95, the mug price from the deals section is £9.95 and the 10% code would reduce that to £8.955, a saving of £0.995, which is marginal. For this kind of purchase you are better to buy the item at its marked price; the personalised mug at £9.95 is the simplest route. The 10% voucher applies, but the saving is small on single low cost items.
Small baskets just under the delivery threshold: when your basket is between £19.95 and £49.99, for example a framed print at £19.95 or a lead hanger at £19.95, the 10% voucher reduces £19.95 to £17.955, saving £1.995. If you can add another small item to reach £50, free UK delivery on orders over £50 could be worth more than the extra 10% saving on a low price item. Free delivery applies to orders over £50.
Baskets of around £50: if your basket is £50 exactly, free UK delivery on orders over £50 does not apply because the threshold is over £50; you need more than £50 to qualify. Use the 10% voucher to get £5 off on a £50 basket, cutting the total to £45. That will normally beat paying for delivery and not using the code.
Larger baskets and multiple items: for carts above £100 the 10% voucher becomes more valuable. For example, on a £120 order the voucher takes 10% off in one step, reducing the price to £108 and saving £12. The free delivery threshold is already satisfied, so the percentage code gives the biggest monetary saving on larger baskets.
Buying the marked deals: the personalised dog water bottle from £24.95, the Lhatese lead and collar hanger for £19.95 and the framed print for £19.95 are sold at their marked prices. The 10% code can be used on these site items unless they are excluded at checkout, but the terms state the code cannot be used with any other codes and offers.
