What is the length of time Alamo Car Hire will hold my reservation?
For delayed flights, reservations are valid for 24 hours from the scheduled time of pick-up, and charges do not commence until the time of pick-up. To accommodate late clients, the location will remain open for up to 2 hours after their listed closing time.

What is Alamo Car Hire‘s pet policy?
Pets are allowed in brand’s rental automobiles in the United States and Canada. You must keep your pets crated and return your rental vehicle clean and free of pet hair to avoid any potential cleaning penalties. Guide dogs and other service animals are allowed in the vehicle without a carrier.
What rewards are available?
With a new or existing reservation, you can choose from a choice of partners to start earning extra rewards, miles, or points or get discounted rates on future rentals.
Does Alamo Car Hire have a grace period for returning a car late?
For daily rentals, there is usually a 29-minute grace time at brand rental locations in the United States and Canada. Additional hourly charges will apply if your car is returned within 2 hours of the time it was rented the next day. You will be charged for an additional day of rental if you return your vehicle 2 hours or more after it was borrowed the next day.
How old do you have to be to rent a car?
To rent a car, you must be at least 21 years old. If you are between the ages of 21 and 24, you may be charged a ‘Youthful Surcharge’ on your rental.
How do I redeem the discount code?
The Discount Code box on the payment page is where you can insert discount codes and special offer codes. Apply your code when you’ve entered it.
Why isn’t my discount code valid?
If your code does not work, it is most likely invalid or expired. Please double-check that you’re inputting the correct code; if possible, copy/paste to make things easier. Double-check that you’re typing zeros as zeros and O’s as O’s. If you are unsure, please contact Alamo Car Hire and Alamo Car Hire will gladly check into it for you.
